How to Create Thanksgiving Photo Slideshow

Thanksgiving Day is a time to give thanks, of family gatherings and holiday meals. A time of turkeys, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. A time for Indian corn, holiday parades and giant balloons... If you are going to host a Thanksgiving party, it is a great idea to create photo slideshows being played during the reception, showcasing the important moments of your family for the whole year. It is very easy and fast to create a Thanksgiving's Day photo slideshow with Photo DVD Burner Professional. Now let's take a look at how it performs:

Step 1. Organize Photos

Click the Organize Photos tab in Photo DVD Burner Professional to create one or more albums, select your family's photos from a folder in your computer hard drive and add them to the album.

In the sub-tab of Album Photo, you can add or remove photos, rotate photos, set album thumbnail, arrange the order of the photos, etc.


Note: Double-click one single photo in the album and you will be able to personalize the photos (transition, Pan & Zoom, Text, ArtClips, Subtitle, Brightness / Contrast, etc) one by one in the Photo Configuration window.

Switch to the Transition & Music tab, and you can set background music (your favorite Thanksgiving songs), apply transition effect, specify transition duration, photo duration, randomize photo transitions, etc.



In the Album Theme tab, there are lots of album themes available for you to choose from. You may also add separate photos to the beginning and end of the album, and edit album beginning title and ending title, such as text, effect, duration, background color, etc.

Also you are allowed to preview the whole album before the conversion by clicking the Album Preview button.

Step 2. Choose Menus

Click the Choose Menus tab in the interface of Photo DVD Burner Professional to choose a menu template for the Thanksgiving slideshow. You can also specify the background music and background image, set font style, size, color, etc to customize the menu template.



Step 3. Burn Disc

Click the Burn Disc tab at the top menu to go to the conversion window. Then click the Output Format drop-down menu and choose the output format for the Thanksgiving slideshow. You can choose to burn Thanksgiving photo slideshows to DVD/Blu-ray discs or create Thanksgiving photo slideshows movie. The following formats are available for you to choose from:

How to free create wedding photo slideshows on iPhone

There are numerous reasons to create a photo slideshow and wedding is on the top list. You may need to make photo slideshows for playing during the wedding receptions; you may have the idea of making a slideshow of your favorite wedding photos; or you'd like to create a photo DVD slideshow in celebration of your wedding anniversary...

Today, I'd like to introduce a fairly easy-to-use iPhone app named Slideshow+ Free, which can help you create a wedding slideshow on iPhone with ease and speed.



Now let's take a look at how it performs to make a slideshow of your favorite wedding photos using Slideshow+.

Step 1. Download Slideshow+ Free from iTunes app store

The iTunes link is http://itunes.apple.com/app/id462690585. Or you can search this app in the store by its name – Slideshow+.

Step 2. Launch the app, create a new project and add photos

Launch the app on your iPhone. Click the "New" button to create a new project. Then you can begin your slideshow. Click the "Photo" button on the lower left corner of the interface to go to "Albums", where you can choose to add photos from Facebook Album, Flick Album, Picasa Web Album, iPhone Camera Roll or photo folders in your iPhone.



Step 3. Choose theme and apply transitions

Go to the "Theme" tab to choose a theme for the slideshow. Click the dice icon in the timeline to apply transition effects to the slideshow. Click any of the photos to add text to it or add a blank image and text. Meanwhile you can click the "Settings" tab at the top right of the interface to adjust the photo duration and transition duration for slideshow presentations.



Step 4. Add background music and theme

Now you can add your favorite wedding songs to the slideshow as the background music. It's easy, just click the "Music" button at the bottom of the interface.

Step 5. Export the slideshow to HDTV

You can click the "Play" button at the bottom of the interface to preview the slideshow and play the slideshow on your iPhone or click the "Export" button to start streaming the slideshow to HDTV.
